Incomplete, cast, copper-alloy one piece Colchester brooch of the late Iron Age to early Roman period, c. 25-60 AD.The brooch has a subtriangular head, short wings and merges into a tapering bow. There is no footknob. The base of the bow retains the base of the catchplate, now lost.The pin is missing, but it would have been a sprung pin cast integral with the rest of the brooch. Bends along the bow have distorted the shape of the brooch.

There is a rectangular slot in the folded end and a circular perforation in the rectangular end of the plate that attached the plate to a strap. A rectangular-headed rivet has been punched through both the upper and lower surface, with its pointed terminal hooked back.

The dirk or rapier fragment is sub-triangular, with the incomplete base and shoulders and the base of the blade. The base would have been semi-circular or similar in outline, and the top edge of a rivet hole remains at the end. Victorian token from the 1887 golden jubilee. Token is made in two parts: both machine stamped seperately, then combined.  The larger base, forming the reverse is actually a shallow dish with vertical sides.  The seperately struck obverse disk was then set inside once combined, a circular perforation was made above the queen's head.

An incomplete case lead doll of Post-Medieval date, 1700-1800. The doll retains the torso and arms of a female doll, the sex indicated both by the style of dress and two raised humps indicating breats. The torso is V-shaped, narrowing towards the waste. The arms emerge from the sides of the shoulders and then extend in a relatively straight manner to rest on the hips. The doll is wearing a dress, decorated on the front and back with a central line and upward angled lines, creating a panelled effect.

A cast copper-alloy bird mount of Roman date. The bird is simple in execution, with an oblong body supporting a short neck, on which rests a globular head with a beak. Corrosion has obscured any detail of the bird, though a fair patina remains, suggesting there may have been no further detail. The flat underside has a short cylindrical shank. The bird may have been mounted on a vessel originally, though other types of object remain a possibility.

Surrounding this there is a ring of yellowish-green enamel or glass. The surface of the glass and enamel is damaged. This object is a Guiraud type 2 a.

A complete silver long cross penny of Edward I dating to the period AD 1280-1. North Number 1021. The obverse depicts a forward facing crowned bust with a legend which reads EDW R ANGL DNS HYB. The reverse depicts a long cross with three pellets in each angle. The legend reads CIVI/TAS/LON/DON.

A complete copper alloy post-medieval jetton dating to the period AD 1562 to 1635. The obverse depicts three crowns and three lis arranged centrifugally around a central rose. The legend reads HANNS KRAVWINCKEL IN NVR. The reverse depicts an imperial orb surmounted by a cross within a tressure of three main arches. This jetton is of the rose and orb type. Parts of the reverse legend are still visible ...TES...N...MACHT... and may suggest the legend read GOTES SEGEN MACHT REICH.

A complete lead bag or bale seal dating to the late post-medieval period. The object is sub-circular in plan although there is damage to the edges. There is embossed cyrillic lettering on both sides of the object. One side reads 16H НГУОVVB and there are possibly two small flowers also visible. The back of the object has the inscription [ ]N СГ9Н. Beneath this writing the letters 7 and 6 are visible which may refer to the date of the object, suggesting a manufacture date in the 1760s. A lead bag seal dating to the period c. AD 1750 to 1850. The object is circular in plan and on one side the words YORK AND SHEEPSHANKS as a border surrounding the word LEEDS in the centre of the field. The back of the seal is undecorated although there are some incised lines which may be the letters HIZ. The York and Sheepshanks company was a cloth manufacturer based in Leeds during the 18th and 19th centuries and it seems likely that this seal was used to confirm the production and quality of a bale of cloth.

A complete lead bag or bale seal dating to the post medieval period. The object is circular in plan with a short rectangular projection. On one side of the seal there is a central circular groove and the letter H is also visible. The reverse of the object is flat and undecorated although there are some incised lines and possibly the numbers 16170 above the number 20.

The reverse depicts a voided short cross with a quatrefoil in each angle. The legend reads WILL...NCE which refers to the moneyer, Willelm, in Winchester.
