A complete silver penny of Edward I (1272-1307) dating to the period 1282-1289. North Number 1026. The obverse depicts a forward facing bust wearing trifoliate crown. The drapery is wedged and the initial mark is a cross pattee. The legend reads EDW.....GL DNS HYB. There is a pellet between the initial mark and the EDW of the legend. The reverse depicts a long cross with three pellets in each quarter. The legend reads CIVI/TAS/CAN/TOR referring to the mint at Canterbury.

The reverse depicts a long cross with three pellets in each quarter. The obverse legend reads CIVI/TAS/D.../EME which refers to the mint at Durham.
