The obverse depicts a crowned bust left with II behind. The legend reads CAROLVS D G ..... REX. The reverse depicts a garnished oval shield surrounded by the legend which is difficult to read due to clipping.

The obverse depicts a crowned bust left with I behind the head. Much of the legend has been clipped away however what remains reads CAROL..... The reverse depicts an oval garnished shield however the legend is not longer visible.

A silver shilling of Charles I dating to the period 1644 to 1645. North Number 2231.
The obverse depicts a crowned bust left with XII behind the head, to the left. The initial mark is the letter R in brackets and the legend reads CAROLVS D G MAG BRI FR ET HIB REX. The reverse depicts a square shield over a long cross moline. The legend reads CHRISTO AVSPICE REGNO.
