A complete copper alloy buckle dating to the period AD 1270 to 1400. The buckle is sub-rectangular in plan with outwardly bulging short sides which are lozenge shaped in section. The strap bar is recessed on one of the long sides and the pin, a folded over strip of copper alloy, is still present. Opposite the pin bar is an integrally cast wider area with incised lines. Similar examples from excavated contexts in London are listed in Egan and Pritchard (2002: 77) and these are dated to the period AD 1270 to 1350.

A copper alloy double loop buckle dating to the period AD 1620 to 1680. The object is a double loop trapezoidal buckle with moulded knops either end of the strap bar and pointed, slightly bevelled ends. Most of the patina has worn away leaving a rough uneven surface. Similar objects are recorded in Whitehead (2003: 82), especially number 513.

An incomplete silver buckle dating to the period, c. AD 1550 to 1700. The object is a double looped buckle with integral central spindle. Approximately 50% of the object remains which consists of one of the loops with is D-shaped in plan. There are two knops on the curved outer edge and smaller, less pronounced knops where the strap bar meets the outer frame. The frame is bevelled giving it a trapezoidal cross-section. There is a recessed, narrowed bar with a corroded pin still in place. Opposite the bar is a widened section creating the effect of a roller however it has been cast integral. There are transverse incised grooves. The back of the object is undecorated. Similar examples are listed in Egan and Pritchard (2002: 76-77) which are from stratigraphic layers dated to the period AD 1270 to 1350 based on the ceramic assemblage.

A complete silver buckle frame dating to the post medieval period. The buckle is broadly sub-rectangular in plan with the long sides featuring two concavities each side of a knop around each spindle hole. On each short side is a raised triangular area which projects out from the buckle and has triangular notches cut into it creating a jagged effect. The back of the brooch is smooth and undecorated. An incomplete copper alloy buckle dating to the medieval period, c. AD 1350 to 1450. The integral plate survives, square and cast with the sides and front in one piece but a hollow back. Along one side there is a double raised ridge with two broken stubs beyond; this is the remains of the frame. The front of the object is flat, with incised lines in an unclear motif. A copper alloy annular buckle probably dating to the medieval period, c. AD 1350 to 1400. The object is circular in plan with a circular cross-section. The pin is still present and is made from one piece of copper alloy which has been curved to form a loop for attachment to the frame. There is a small projection where the pin straightens and from there is tapers to a blunt point. There is no recess for the pin which Egan and Pritchard (2002: 65) suggest is indicative of a buckle, rather than a brooch. The frame has an oval-shaped section. There is a small notch in the curved section of the frame and it is likely this would have acted as a pin rest. Similar objects have been excavated from London (see Egan and Pritchard 1991), catalogue numbers 390 and 392 and these have been dated to the period AD 1350 to 1450.

A copper alloy buckle dating to the medieval period, c. AD 1350 to 1400. The buckle has a sub-rectangular rectangular frame which is 16.9 mm wide. The frame has slightly convex sides which attach to a thicker bar. There are five grooves which run across the bar and one of these acts as a pin rest. Directly opposite the bar is a plate made of folded over sheet metal with a slot cut out to allow space for the pin approximately 50% of which remains. Similar examples have been found during exacavations in London, see Egan and Pritchard (2002) number 438 in particular.

Part of a silver buckle dating to the period AD 1720 to 1790. The frame would have been rectangular in plan with rosettes at each corner and in the middle of the short sides. There are two strands to the frame between the rosettes. The back of the buckle is undecorated but the initials A W are incised in the surface with the makers mark possibly reading J W.

A complete copper alloy annular brooch or buckle dating to the medieval period, c. AD 1250 to 1400. The brooch has a circular frame which is not decorated/ The pin is still attached and is made of a copper alloy wire which has a circular diameter and tapers to a point. The wire curves round to form a loop which attaches it to the frame. No constriction for the pin is present which as Egan and Pritchard (p.64-65) state "is generally an indication of a brooch rather than a buckle" therefore suggesting this example is a buckle.
