The obverse depicts a forward facing crowned bust surrounded by the legend which reads EDW R ANGL DNS HYB with pot-hook Ns. The reverse depicts a long cross with three pellets in each angle. The legend reads CIVI/TAS/DVR/EME.

The obverse depicts a forward facing bust wearing a bifoliate crown but is very worn and it is not possible to discern facial details. The obverse legends reads EDWA R A[NGL] DN[S HY]B.
The reverse depicts a long cross with three pellets in each quarter. The obverse legend reads CIVI/TAS/D.../EME which refers to the mint at Durham.
