A complete silver long cross penny of Edward II dating to the period 1310 to 1317.
The obverse depicts a forward facing crowned bust surrounded by the legend which reads EDWA...NGL DNS HYB. The reverse depicts a long cross with three pellets in each quarter. The long cross has a crozier end at the 12 o'clock position which refers to Bishop Kellawe who was the Bishop of Durham during the period 1311 to 1316. The legend reads CIVI/TAS/DVN/ELM.

The obverse depicts a forward facing bust wearing a bifoliate crown but is very worn and it is not possible to discern facial details. The obverse legends reads EDWA R A[NGL] DN[S HY]B.
The reverse depicts a long cross with three pellets in each quarter. The obverse legend reads CIVI/TAS/D.../EME which refers to the mint at Durham.
