An incomplete post medieval lead-alloy stud or button. It is sub-circular with a domed front and a flat back. The front features incised decoration which focus around a circle which acts as the centre of a flower with six long, linear petals. Between each of the petals there is an annulet with pellet in the centre. Around the edge of the circle are a series of pellets which act as a border. On the back there is evidence for some sort of attachment which looks to be a circular projection although this has been sheared off. Probably 17th century.

A complete lead bulla of Pope Gregory IX, 1227-1241. The obverse contains the legend GREGORIVS PP VIIII across three lines with a border of pellets although most of this has worn away. The PP stands for Pastor Pastorum or 'Shepherd of Shepherds. The reverse depicts two busts facing forward with a crucifix between them. They are individually bordered by a line of pellets. A lead brooch of Weetch's type 4.C, dating to the early medieval period, c. AD 900 to 1000. The object was originally circular and flat, but it has been folded and bent, probably through post-depositional processes. The back of the object has the lugs and pin catch which would have formed part of the mechanism. The pin is missing. A post medieval lead alloy Russian Flax Bale Seal. The seal is sub-circular in plan and the front has a crossed keys design with a star above and the number 1 below. The reverse is not decorated and there is evidence of damage and it is likely this is where the the connecting strip would have been. The crossed keys may relate to the city of York and SWYOR-95DAB2 and SWYOR-A79D15 are similar examples.

A complete lead spindle whorl probably dating to the medieval period, c. AD 1200 to 1500. The object is sub-circular in plan and biconvex. There is a central sub-circular hole through the object which has a diameter of 10.52 mm. One side of the object is flattened or damaged possibly sugesting the object was a more regular shape initially. Both sides of the object are decorated with double lines alternating with raised pellets.

One face is flat and the other is curved which creates a D-shaped section. There is no evidence for decoration on either side. Weights of this type are in use from the Roman period to the Post Medieval period which makes it difficult to assign a narrower date range.

A post medieval dress hook dating to the period AD 1450 to 1550. The object has a circular panel depicting a Tudor rose with two sets of six petals within a linear border. There is a sub-rectangular projection from one side which would have been attached to an item of clothing. On the other side of the object there is the remains of an iron hook. This is a Read (2008:125-6) Early post med class K type 2, and an identical example can be seen on page 126 number 514.

A complete lead spindle whorl dating to the medieval period, c. AD 1200 to 1500. The object is circular in plan and biconvex. There is a central, circular perforation which has a diameter of 10.31 mm and would have been used for suspending the spindle whorl. Both faces of the object are decorated, one with raised lines very close to each and occasional pellets in between. The other face has also got raised lines however they are further apart with at least one pellet in between but sometimes two.

The seal impression is circular with irregular edges which contain spaces where wire or textile ligatures would have run across the diameter of the object to seal it. One side reads ДД/АССЯТН/... and probably would have listed the quality control officer. The other side of the object reads КРОНЬ/2СОТЪ... and lists the point of export as well as the date of production although this has now worn away.

There are spaces where a wire or textile ligature would have passed through the object across its diameter. The other side of the object is more worn and while there probably was lettering on both sides it is no longer visible.

An incomplete lead or pewter pin terminal dating to the post medieval period, c. 1600 to 1800. The object is irregular in plan with a cylindrical body and a spherical head. Around the body of the pin head are two raised rows of beady, perhaps meant to represent ropework. These rows wrap around the body of the pin. An incomplete lead pilgrim badge or pendant dating to the medieval period, c. AD 1300 to 1500. The object is in the form of a scallop shell and has broken and worn edges. There appear to be two plates flattened together perhaps suggesting the object carried holy water from the site of pilgrimage. The scallop shell was the symbol of St James whose original shrine was at Santiago de Compostela in Spain. Pilgrims would bring back souvenirs as proof that they had completed their journey.
