A gold post medieval posy ring dating to the 18th century.
The object is sub-circular in plan and a flattened D-shaped in section. There is a crack running the width of the ring and is visible on both sides. The outside face of the ring is decorated with a heart and hand motif with a foliate design. There are traces of white enamel in places suggesting further ornaments.
The inside face of the ring has an inscription which reads "If regarded tis rewarded". There is a makers mark which is unclear but could be the letter W in a square punch.
