An incomplete copper alloy headstud brooch dating to the period AD 50 to 200. The brooch has a sub-rectangular head 15.13 mm wide with wings cast to hold a hinged pin. There is an integrally cast headloop which is incomplete. There are two incised lines on each wing and no other decoration on the head. The bow extends from the head and tapers towards a circular stud with a smaller incised circle. An incomplete copper alloy finger ring dating to the Roman period, c. AD 43 to 250. The hoop is damaged with approximately 50% remaining. The hoop is oval in section and is 2.07 mm wide at the break. The hoop widens from the break to form the shoulders. The bezel is oval and 8.89 mm wide. In the bezel there is a smal central circle 3.63 mm in diameter which is filled with white enamel. Surrounding this there is a ring of yellowish-green enamel or glass. The surface of the glass and enamel is damaged. This object is a Guiraud type 2 a.

A copper alloy stud dating to the Roman period, AD 43 to 410. The object has a circular head with a diameter of 27.88 mm which is convex. From the underside projects a square sectioned shaft which tapers to a point althought this is damaged. There are a wide variety of Roman studs known and large selection was found at Colchester, see for example number 3096 (Crummy 1983: 117).

A copper alloy stud dating to the Roman period, c. AD 43 to 410. The head of the stud is domed and round with a diameter of 23.9 mm. The underside of the head is flat and from it projects a square shaft which tapers to a point. There are many recorded examples of Roman studs, see examples from Colchester, (Crummy 1983) figures 120, no. 3173.

A copper alloy knee brooch dating to the period c. AD 80 to 300. The object has a rectangular head in plan which is semi-circular in section to hold the hinge which is still present although the pin is not. The head is 22.87 mm wide and steps away and the bow is attached to the step. The bow curves outwards and downwards. It is quite narrow but it is 11.28mm in depth. The brooch then widens to form a square foot. Part of the catchplate is still present and is horizontal. A similar example illustrated by Mackreth (2001) Plate 131 no. 7564 which is Continental type 1.b

A copper alloy strap fitting dating to the post medieval period, c. AD 1550 to 1700. The object has a heart shaped plate 12.38 mm wide with two holes through it containing iron rivets. The narrow tip of the heart shape is cut by a horizontal collar which is 3.25 mm wide. There is then a narrow projection, 3.75 mm in width which curves backwards to form a small loop. The object is simple and undecorated. There are similar objects recorded on the PAS database, for example see SUR-7E5A37 and WAW-425F90. These objects may be part of a sword belt fitting.

A copper alloy strap fitting dating to the period AD 1550 to 1700. The object is S-shaped in plan with the object narrowing at each end snake or swan head terminals. The strap fitting is slightly flattened and has a circumferential band 3.47 mm wide at the midpoint. There are four leaves projecting from the band on each side. There is a small loop attached to the strap fitting which is open on one side and 10.39 mm in diameter. A very similar object is published in Read (2008: 230), catalogue number 825 which is dated to the mid-16th century.

A copper alloy swivel strap fitting dating to the medieval period, c. AD 1100 to 1500. The object is a figure of eight shape in plan although one of the loops is broken. One loop survives intact and it is D-shaped in plan and narrows towards the apex of the curve. At the join between the curve and the swivel section, the loop terminates in possibly stylised zoomorphic terminals although they are unclear.
