A copper alloy hinged book clasp of Howsam type A.1.3, dating to the period AD 1350 to 1450.
The object has a flat sub-circular plate with a circular hole through the middle. The plate is not decorated on either side. At one end is a damaged recessed bar which would have been attached to a strap fixed to one cover of the book. At the other side of the is a zoomorphic terminal.
Similar examples are listed in Egan and Pritchard (1991: 154-5) from excavated contexts which date them to the period AD 1350 to 1450.

A copper alloy pin head probably dating to the 8th century.
The object is sub-circular in plan and flat with an irregular edge.There is a possible hole through the middle which is visible on both sides of the object however it is now corroded over. The back of the object is undecorated and irregular with some areas of active corrosion. The front of the object is decorated and gilded. Around the circular hole there is a circular incised border. A complete copper alloy buckle dating to the period AD 1270 to 1400.
The buckle is sub-rectangular in plan with outwardly bulging short sides which are lozenge shaped in section. The strap bar is recessed on one of the long sides and the pin, a folded over strip of copper alloy, is still present. Opposite the pin bar is an integrally cast wider area with incised lines.
Similar examples from excavated contexts in London are listed in Egan and Pritchard (2002: 77) and these are dated to the period AD 1270 to 1350.

A copper alloy double loop buckle dating to the period AD 1620 to 1680.
The object is a double loop trapezoidal buckle with moulded knops either end of the strap bar and pointed, slightly bevelled ends. Most of the patina has worn away leaving a rough uneven surface.
Similar objects are recorded in Whitehead (2003: 82), especially number 513.

A complete copper alloy Rose and Orb jetton of Hans Krauwinckel dating to the period AD 1586 - 1635.
The obverse depicts an imperial orb surmounted by a cross pattee within a double stranded multifoil, all within an inner circle. The legend reads HANNS KRAVWINCKEL IN NVR.
The reverse depicts three crowns and three lis arranged centrifugally around a central rose, all within an inner circle. The legend reads GOTES [SEGEN MA]CHT REICH.

A copper alloy mount, probably of medieval or post-medieval date, c. AD 1400 to 1700.
The object is sub-circular in plan with some irregular breaks however these have a patina consistent with the rest of the object which suggests that they are not recent. On the front of the object has a sub-circular knop. The object has a concave reverse which is undecorated however there is some ferrous corrosion from the knop on the front but may also have been the means of attaching the mount to a a larger object.

The object is trapezoidal in plan with a central integral bar with the complete pin present and attached. The object is D-shaped in section. There is no decoration on the buckle frame.
Similar examples are listed in Egan and Pritchard (2002: 101) which are from stratigraphic sequences dating by ceramic assemblages.

A complete copper alloy buckle frame dating to the medieval period, c. AD 1270 to 1350.
The object is sub-rectangular in plan with outward curving sides. There is a recessed, narrowed bar with a corroded pin still in place. Opposite the bar is a widened section creating the effect of a roller however it has been cast integral. There are transverse incised grooves. The back of the object is undecorated.
Similar examples are listed in Egan and Pritchard (2002: 76-77) which are from stratigraphic layers dated to the period AD 1270 to 1350 based on the ceramic assemblage.

A fragment of a copper alloy small-long brooch dating to the early medieval period, c. AD 450 to 550.
The brooch has a square headplate with three projections which are sub-rectangular however all have irregular edges so the original shape is uncertain. From the fourth side of the headplate the bow extends forwards and downwards before curving back. An unfinished copper alloy pointed-oval seal matrix dating to the medieval period, c. AD 1200 to 1300.
The object is pointed-oval (vesica shaped) and flat with a raised midrib on the reverse with a projecting knop at one end which would have had a hole drilled through, but which is now solid (there may be a hint of a small perforation now blocked with corrosion). The reverse is otherwise undecorated. The object is 35.54 mm in length and 23.78 mm wide.
