A lead brooch of Weetch's type 4.C, dating to the early medieval period, c. AD 900 to 1000. The object was originally circular and flat, but it has been folded and bent, probably through post-depositional processes. The back of the object has the lugs and pin catch which would have formed part of the mechanism. The pin is missing. A copper alloy hinged book clasp of Howsam type A.1.3, dating to the period AD 1350 to 1450. The object has a flat sub-circular plate with a circular hole through the middle. The plate is not decorated on either side. At one end is a damaged recessed bar which would have been attached to a strap fixed to one cover of the book. At the other side of the is a zoomorphic terminal. Similar examples are listed in Egan and Pritchard (1991: 154-5) from excavated contexts which date them to the period AD 1350 to 1450.

A complete copper alloy buckle dating to the period AD 1270 to 1400. The buckle is sub-rectangular in plan with outwardly bulging short sides which are lozenge shaped in section. The strap bar is recessed on one of the long sides and the pin, a folded over strip of copper alloy, is still present. Opposite the pin bar is an integrally cast wider area with incised lines. Similar examples from excavated contexts in London are listed in Egan and Pritchard (2002: 77) and these are dated to the period AD 1270 to 1350.

The bowl of a clay pipe dating to the post medieval or modern period, c. 1850 to 1910. The bowl has a flat base and is sub-circular in plan with sub-circular hollow to hold the tobacco. The pipe is decorated with a double motif of a young woman with a flower in her hair cheek to cheek with an old woman wearing a cap or bonnet. There is a flat area at the back of the bowl where the two heads join and just below is a small hole and break which is where the stem would have been attached.

An incomplete and damaged silver medieval finger ring dating to the 12th century AD. The ring is made from a sheet of silver and in plan the object would be biconcave. The bezel is missing although the wide shoulders are present before narrowing to form the band. There is incised decoration which takes the form of lines which run diagonally across the outer edge of the ring. On the shoulders, these lines are wider apart with shorter lines running between them. There are similar examples on the PAS database, see for example SUR-BCFB42.

The object has a concave reverse which is undecorated however there is some ferrous corrosion from the knop on the front but may also have been the means of attaching the mount to a a larger object. There is a similar object recorded on the PAS database, see LANCUM-64D34F.
