A copper alloy mount, possibly dating to the medieval period, c. AD 1200 to 1500. The object has a sub-rectangular shaft with a spherical knop at one end. There is a small circular hole throough the shaft. At the opposite end to the knop is an irregular lozenge-shaped terminal with three concentric lozenge shapes and a hole in centre. The lozenge is slightly concave. The holes through the object suggest a means of attachment but it is unclear what the object was used for.

An incomplete copper alloy trumpet brooch dating to the Roman period. The head of the brooch is missing. At the apex of the bow there is moulded decoration which is enclosed by a collar at each end. There is a central collar with a border of raised pellets either side. The decoration runs all the way around the brooch. After the lower collar, the bow has a lozenge-shaped cross section and the bow tapers to a circular foot. The catchplate is still present. A complete copper alloy terret ring dating to the 1st or 2nd century AD. The object comprises of two parts, the first is the sub-circular loop which would have held the reins. This section is 35.91 mm wide, 7.35 mm thick and the hole has a diameter of 21.94 mm. The second part of the object is a sub-rectangular projection to fit onto a strap. This has a width of 27.04 mm, thickness of 5.25 mm and the hole through this section is 15.02 mm long and 4.66 mm wide. An incomplete copper alloy terret ring dating to the 1st or 2nd century AD. Sub-rectangular section is 24.22 mm wide and 3.2 mm thick. It is flat with two circular disks or collars which have a diameter of 15.52 mm. From these disks the ring of the terret extends however each side tapers sharply before ending in a point which appears to be ancient. Difficult to tell is the points were made deliberate however it seems unlikely that these are breaks due to the symmetry of the two.

A complete silver buckle frame dating to the post medieval period. The buckle is broadly sub-rectangular in plan with the long sides featuring two concavities each side of a knop around each spindle hole. On each short side is a raised triangular area which projects out from the buckle and has triangular notches cut into it creating a jagged effect. The back of the brooch is smooth and undecorated. There is some evidence for ferrous corrosion, probably from the spindle and chape. Whitehouse (2003: 99) illustrates a similar object, no. 627, which he dates to the period AD 1660 to…
