A complete silver penny of Henry III (1216 to 1272) dating to the period AD 1248 to 1250. North Number 986.
The obverse depicts a forward facing, crowned bust surrounded by the legend which reads HENRICVS REX III. Initial mark is a start and there is a crescent after III. The reverse depicts a voided long cross with three pellets in each angle. The legend reads WAL/TER/ONL/INC.
