An incomplete copper alloy disc brooch dating to the period AD 250 to 410. The object is oval in plan 22.71 mm in length and 18.13 mm wide. There are two sections of damage and the edge of the brooch is quite uneven suggesting some possible damage and considerable wear. In the centre of the brooch is a void which may have held a glass centrepiece or stone. There is some damage at the wider end of the strap end and so the holes for the rivets are no longer complete. Part of the front of the strap end has split away from the top. A fragment of a copper alloy brooch dating from the Roman to the Medieval period. The fragment is sub-rectangular in plan and has simple decoration in the form of two parallel incised lines which run parallel to the outer edge of the brooch. The back of the object is undecorated although there are two small loops with a pin between them suggesting some type of hinge mechanism.

The object has an acorn shape terminal separated from the plates by a collar. For similar examples, see Egan and Pritchard (1991) numbers 676 to 684.

A complete copper alloy strap fitting dating to the early medieval period. The object is triangular in plan with a circular loop attached to one point. The triangular section is split and it is likley this is where the strap would have been attached. There is a rivet going through the two parts of the object. Along the side furthest from the loop, there are three ring and dot motifs but this is only on one side of the object. Near the attachment to the circular loop there are two sub-circular projections; their function is unclear. Similar objects have been recorded on the PAS

It is slightly biconvex and each side has a thick border running around the edge. There is cast decoration on both faces in the form of raised lines creating triangle shapes which enclose raised pellets.
