A lead brooch of Weetch's type 4.C, dating to the early medieval period, c. AD 900 to 1000. The object was originally circular and flat, but it has been folded and bent, probably through post-depositional processes. The back of the object has the lugs and pin catch which would have formed part of the mechanism. The pin is missing. A copper alloy hinged book clasp of Howsam type A.1.3, dating to the period AD 1350 to 1450. The object has a flat sub-circular plate with a circular hole through the middle. The plate is not decorated on either side. At one end is a damaged recessed bar which would have been attached to a strap fixed to one cover of the book. At the other side of the is a zoomorphic terminal. Similar examples are listed in Egan and Pritchard (1991: 154-5) from excavated contexts which date them to the period AD 1350 to 1450.

A copper alloy pin head probably dating to the 8th century. The object is sub-circular in plan and flat with an irregular edge.There is a possible hole through the middle which is visible on both sides of the object however it is now corroded over. The back of the object is undecorated and irregular with some areas of active corrosion. The front of the object is decorated and gilded. Around the circular hole there is a circular incised border. A complete silver penny of Edward II dating to AD 1309 with silver casting waste attached to the reverse. The coin is a complete silver penny with the obverse legend reading EDWA R ANGL DNS HYB. The obverse depicts a forward facing bust. North Number 1042/3. Uncertain mint. The coin has a diameter of 17.62 mm. The casting waste is attached to the reverse of the coin and is irregular and globular with a recess in the back.

A fragment of a copper alloy small-long brooch dating to the early medieval period, c. AD 450 to 550. The brooch has a square headplate with three projections which are sub-rectangular however all have irregular edges so the original shape is uncertain. An incomplete gilded silver iconographic finger ring dating to the medieval period, c. AD 1400 to 1500. The object has a sub-rectangular bezel with two faces and a triangular section. Each face of the bezel has an inscribed motif which appears to be a crude representation of two figures, probably saints. A copper alloy Nauheim-derivative of La Tène III brooch dating to the Iron Age, c. 100 BC to AD 100. The object has an integral head which is mainly comprised of the spring mechanism created by winding the metal. The metal has broken so the pin is not present. A copper alloy chape, late medieval to early post medieval in date, c. AD 1450 to 1600. The object is sub-triangular in plan with a slightly rounded side and a damaged side which meet at a point with a knop. There is a raised line down the centre of the object with two openwork apertures, a round hole above a rectangular one and it is likely that this would have been repeated on the other side which is missing. Similar, more complete examples are recorded on the PAS database, see NARC-854A93 and CAM-2D9EB4.
