A complete silver penny possibly of Edward II (AD 1307 to 1327).
The obverse depicts a forward facing bust wearing a bifoliate crown. The legend reads EDWA...The reverse depicts a long cross with three pellets in each angle. Much of the legend has worn away although the letters DVR/EME are visible indicating the mint at Durham.

A complete long cross penny of Edward I (1272-1307) dating to the period 1301-1310. North number 1042/2.
The obverse depicts a forward facing bust wearing a bifoliate crown but is very worn and it is not possible to discern facial details. The obverse legends reads EDWA R A[NGL] DN[S HY]B.
The reverse depicts a long cross with three pellets in each quarter. The obverse legend reads CIVI/TAS/D.../EME which refers to the mint at Durham.
