A copper-alloy bell of probable Roman date. The bell is incomplete, missing the clapper and suffering damage at the base. It is conical with a sub-triangular suspension loop at the apex. The base has a slight raised ridge approximately 3mm above the edge. Internally, the clapper would have suspended from a suspension loop that is now missing along with the clapper.
