A complete lead spindle whorl dating to the medieval period, c. AD 1200 to 1500. The object is circular in plan and biconvex. There is a central, circular perforation which has a diameter of 10.31 mm and would have been used for suspending the spindle whorl. Both faces of the object are decorated, one with raised lines very close to each and occasional pellets in between. The other face has also got raised lines however they are further apart with at least one pellet in between but sometimes two.

A copper alloy buckle dating to the period c. AD 1525 to 1600. The buckle is double looped with one loop D-shaped off the central bar and the other loop trapezoidal. The frame is D-shaped in section with faceted edges. There is cast decoration on the trapezoidal loop in the form of grooves. There is one small knop projecting from the D-shaped loop and some damage suggests there would have been a second knop. There is some iron corrosion on the central bar and this could suggest that the pin was originally made of iron. This buckle is a Marshall (1986: 13 - 14) Tudor type IIB.

A complete lead bag or cloth seal dating to the post medieval period. The object is sub-circular with spaces where the wire or textile ligature would have passed through the diameter of the seal. One side of the seal depicts an unclear cross with two pellets in one quarter and one pellet in the adjacent quarter. The other side depicts the letters MW/12K over two lines. Similar objects have been recorded on the PAS database, see NCL-56B2F3.

A complete lead bag or cloth seal dating to the 19th century. The seal impression is circular with irregular edges which contain spaces where wire or textile ligatures would have run across the diameter of the object to seal it. One side reads ДД/АССЯТН/... and probably would have listed the quality control officer. The other side of the object reads КРОНЬ/2СОТЪ... and lists the point of export as well as the date of production although this has now worn away.

A complete lead cloth seal dating to 1836. The impressed seal is roughly circular with uneven edge. There are spaces where a wire or textile ligature would have passed through the object across its diameter. One side of the seal reads КРОН/2СОРТ/επ/1836 which probably refers to the place of export and the date of production. The other side of the object is more worn and while there probably was lettering on both sides it is no longer visible.

There are rectangular spaces on the side of the object which are where the rope or wire would have gone. One side of the seal reads АРХ/КРОНЬ/2СОРТЋ in three rows with the date 1836 below. A complete copper alloy shoe buckle dating to the period AD 1660 to 1720. The object is sub-rectangular in plan with slightly concave long sides. There is some decoration on the sides of the buckle however the surface is quite worn so it is difficult to see. The single tongue, pin and stud chape are all still present although no longer attached to the buckle. This buckle is a Marshall (1986: 17-18) type V buckle and due to the large size and curve was probably used as a shoe buckle.

A complete silver teaspoon in two parts dating to the post medieval period. The object has an oval bowl which is folded and badly damaged, The stem of the spoon is narrow and D-shaped in section before widening and flatterning to the rounded terminal. On the back of the stem there is a hallmark of a lion rampant and the letters S E which probably refer to the silversmith. On the flattened terminal are the letters A B which probably refer to the owner of the spoon. A similar object has been recorded on the PAS database: SUR-7D3101.

A lead Post Medieval medallion, probably 19th century in date. It is circular in plan with decoration on both faces. The front face has a crowned bust facing left. He has long straight hair. The bust is inside a circle of dots. The reverse has a central circle, surrounded by concentric circles decorated alternately with a series of dots or split into segments by lines. A copper alloy harness mount dating to the medieval period, c. 1250 to 1400. The object is shield shaped in plan with a very worn and corroded surface. The back of the object is flat and undecorated and while the stud is missing there is a small scar where it has broken off which shows a circular cross section. The front of the object has a diagonal cross shape in relief. It is likely that there would have been some enamelling on the front of the object however it is now to damaged to see any traces.

There is some decoration on the front in the form of horizontal lines. Within these lines are a linear pattern of rounded peaks and troughs. It seems likely that these would have contained enamel however none now remains.

A copper alloy trefoil shaped harness pendant dating to the medieval period, c. 1250 to 1350. The object is trefoil shaped in plan with one lobe below two lobes. Between the top two lobes the suspension loop is attached with the hole at 90 degrees to the rest of the pendant. A lot of enamelling is still present on the front of the object with the spaces indicating a shield motif with a lis design extending from the two corners ath the top. A silver groat of Robert III of Scotland (1390 to 1406) dating to the period AD 1390 to 1403. The obverse depicts a forward facing crowned bust within a tressure of seven arches with three pellets at the cusps. The legend reads ROBERTVS DEI GRA REX S.... with three pellets in a vertical line as stops. The reverse depicts a long cross with three pellets in each angle. The inner legend reads VILL/A ED/INBV/RGH with two small crosses as stops. The outer legend reads DNS PTECTOR MS F LIB ATORMS with means God is my defender and redeemer. The F in the outer legend is retrograde.

A fragment of the handle of a medieval vessel, probably dating to the 15th century. The object is rectangular in plan with a slight tapering towards the bottom. The section is D-shaped and the object is slightly curved. There are four grooves running the length of the object on the front.There is green glaze on the front of the object and this is slightly mottled. There is no glaze on the back. It is likely that this vessel fragment was part of a large ceramic jug.

A complete lead bag seal dating to the 19th century. Both sides of the seal display the same logo, of G & T Earle of Hull. In the centre of the logo is depicts a pelican with spread wings, standing on a nest with five chicks, all within two inscribed circular bands. Between the two bands is G & T EARLE LIMITED HULL. Outside of the two bands are the words LEAD SEALED and PELICAN BRAND. G & T Earle Ltd was a cement manufacturers based out of Hull. An identical bag seal has been recorded on the PAS database: SWYOR-E19C51.

A complete buckle frame dating to the post medieval period, c. AD 1500 to 1650. The buckle is pentagonal in plan witha narrow pin bar. The part of the buckle which would act as a pin rest has a simple projection which gives the buckle its pentagonal shape. The buckle has splayed feet by the pin bar. The back is undecorated. This buckle is similar to no. 145 in R. Whitehead (1996) Buckles: 1250 to 1800.

A copper alloy shoe buckle of post medieval date, c. 1720 to 1760. The buckle is rectangular in plan with rounded corners and a thickening along the long sides. This thickening is where the spindle and tongue of the buckle would have been attached however they are no longer present. The buckle is undecorated and would have been the lower end of the market. The buckle is curved to fit the shoe more closely.

There are incised lateral lines running the entire way around the frame. The frame is significantly curved which is a trend which developed as buckles became larger so that they could till fit on the foot. The spindle and pin are both missing.
