An incomplete, damaged silver finger ring dating to the medieval period. The object is made from a single sheet of silver, 0.68 mm thick, which would be biconvex if flattened. The ring has been folded over twice with the two ends folded over on themselves. There is no distinct bezel however the widest section of the ring is decorated on one side. There are two lateral incised lines across the band either side of the 'bezel' with three deeper lines running between the two collars and shallower, diagonal incisions as decoration. The ring is circular in plan, complete, and has a D-shaped cross section. Approximately 25% of the outside face of the ring is decorated; the central motif is a crude, incised skull. Either side of the skull there is some incised cross-hatching decoration which terminates in a point in the middle of the width of the band. The point has a star incised at that point. There are some traces of black enamel in the incised decoration although it is likely that there would have been more which is now missing. A gold posy ring of post medieval date, late 17th century to early 18th century. The ring is circular in plan with a D-shaped cross section. The outside of the ring is not decorated although there are a few marks, probably from depostion. The inside of the ring has an inscription in an italic script which reads "Love is the Bond of Peace". There is a makers mark at the start of the inscription with the letters I and H in a rectangular frame. An incomplete lead seal matrix of Medieval date (AD 1200-1300). The seal is pointed oval in plan, and has a broken lug projecting from the top of its apex and another break at the other end of the object. The front of the die depicts a large central crescent moon with a five pointed star above, and is surrounded by an engraved linear border outside which is an engraved inscription. The inscription is partially obscured by damage and wear which makes reading it very difficult. A damaged copper alloy harness pendant dating to the period AD 1200 to 1350. The object is damaged however there are two clear lobes opposite each other and corners also visible suggesting that the object may have originally been in the shape of a quatrefoil with corners between each of the lobes, similar to SUR-7E8FF2. A copper alloy book fitting dating to the post medieval period, c. AD 1600 to 1750. The object is sub-rectangular in plan and consists of two thin copper alloy plates.
