An incomplete hollow post-medieval terminal from an unidentified object. The terminal has an obvious break on one side where it would have been attached to another object. The decorative side of the object has a small band of ring and dot decoration before a plain collar and a line of three large pellets with two small pellets in the space between the large pellets. The terminal widens out from the collar and the sides have three rounded nodules before curving inwards to form a point. At the point there is a pellet which acts as a circular projection. A copper alloy halfcrown of George III with piercing dating to the period 1817 to 1820. The obverse depicts a right facing bust with a laurel crown although this has largely been obscured by the letters I G I G. The legend is still visible and reads GEORGIUS III DEI GRATIA. The reverse is largely worn away but traces of a crowned coat of arms are still visible. The letters I and G have been impressed in the middle of the field. A light-weight copper alloy cloak or dress fastening in the shape of a lion's head dating to the 18th or 19th century. The lion's head is hollow on the reverse and there is a loop still in place which would have attached the fastening to an item of clothing. There is evidence for at least another one loop although this is now missing. Soldered to the back of the lion is a metal hook which curves forward and terminates to the left of the lion's face.
