A possible copper alloy strap end dating to the early medieval period c. AD 750 to 1100. The object is sub-rectangular in plan with a circular section. The object flattens at one end and tapers to a rounded point at the other end. At the pointed end there is incised decoration which could be eyes and ears although this section is quite worn. From there there is some simple ring and dot decoration, again incised which stops at a narrow collar. There are some incised D-shapes before the flattened section.
