A silver Medieval coin; a penny probably of Edward I (AD 1272 - 1307) or Edward II (AD 1307 - 1327), probably Class 10cf dating from AD 1305 - 1310. The lettering seems similar to a Class 10cf3b2 variety mentioned in Wood's Classification of Class 10 article, with but the hair and face do not seem to fit class 10cf3b. Mint of Canterbury. The coin is 16.5mm diameter, 0.6mm thick and 0.92g. See North (1994) English Hammered Coinage, Volume 2, number 1040 - 1043 on page 32.
