A silver medieval coin of Edward I minted in Newcastle. Class 10ab. The crown is not clearly visible on this example, but this could be an early coin of this class if the side fleur-de-lis of the crown is trifoliate rather than bifoilate, which looks possible. It dates from 1272 to 1307.
