A Roman copper alloy coin; probably a very worn Flavian dupondius dating from AD 69 - 96 (Reece Period 4). There is a crude figure on the reverse, possibly advancing left but facing right. It has a diameter of 24.07mm and is 2.37mm thick. 5.72g.

Copper alloy Roman coin; an As, possibly of a Flavian emperor (Vespasian, Titus or Domitian (69 - 96) with an Altar on the reverse. The coin has a diameter of 27.5mm and is 1.7mm thick. It weighs 6.69g. The obverse is totally illegible. For the reverse type, see RIC II (2nd ed), pl28, c.f. 313 ff
