A leg probably from a cooking vessel such as a cauldron, dating from the Medieval to Post-Medieval period, about AD 1100 - 1850. The leg is D shaped in cross section, flat at the front, and terminates in a massive rounded paw like foot. The width flares from 26.8mm to 49.2mm at the foot. The base has dark patches indicating sooting. It is 51.2mm long and weighs 420g. The foot does not match any examples in Butler, Green and Payne (2009), but must have been from a substantial vessel or other piece of furniture.

A fragment probably from the rim of a copper alloy cooking vessel, probably of Medieval to post-Medieval date, about AD 1100 - 1900. Only a small portion of the rim survives, too small to estimate the rim diameter. The remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn and patinated. The rim is thickened and slightly everted. The fragment has a dark grey patina. The outer face is dark uneven with sooting, which suggests it is from a vessel rather than a bell. The inner face is smooth. It is 30.8mm wide, 27mm high and 4.7mm thick. 9.3g. https:/…
