A part of a cast copper alloy two-part handle from a drinking vessel (probably a tankard) of probable Post-Medieval date (c. AD 1550 - c. AD 1650). It is 70.96mm long, width 16.12mm, thickness 5.75mm with a weight of 57.40g. The handle consists of a curved element, the handle itself, which would have been soldered to the side of the vessel. Only the top part of this survives. At the top of the handle are two raised perforated sub oval lugs.
