An unidentified copper alloy and iron object of uncertain date. The object consists of the end of a rod of copper alloy which has an iron core. At the complete end is a slightly bulbous terminal. A shallow trough separates this from the rest of the rod which is sub circular in section. The iron can be seen in the centre of the terminal where is seems to be circular, and as more of a rectangular band at the broken end.
