An incomplete silver Roman coin; a denarius of the deified Marcus Aurelius issued under Commodus, dating from AD 180 (Reece period 9). CON[SECRATIO reverse type depicting An Eagle standing right on a globe, head turned left. Mint of Rome.  RIC III Commodus 273 (http://numismatics.org/ocre/id/ric.3.com.273). Measurements are; length 10.7mm, width 16.7mm, thickness 1.8mm and weight 1.53g. Just over half the coin survives.

Mint of Rome. See RIC III number 120. The coin is 17.4mm diameter, 2mm thick and 2.34g. It has some copper alloy corrosion on the surface, but appears to be a silver coin throughout.

Mint of Rome probably. The legends are the same as Sear Volume II number 5676, but Jupiter is depicted standing, not seated. The coin is 17.33mm diameter and 1.75mm thick. 2.25g.
