A copper alloy Roman coin; a radiate of Tacitus dating from AD 275 - 276, (Reece Period 14), PROVIDENTIA AVG reverse depicting Providentia standing left holding baton and cornucopia, at feet, globe. Mint of Rome with mintmark "XXI A". See RIC 5a number 92 on page 335. The coin is 22.8mm diameter, 1.6mm thick and 3.35g.
