 A Post Medieval lead two disc cloth seal made from two discs of lead held together with a lead strip, dating from AD 1700 - 1900. A central integral rivet from the back of one disc passes through a hole in the other disc and is stamped flat. The seal has the legend R&I in relief on the obverse with the number 829 stamped above it. The imprint of the cloth is visible on the other face. Measurements are; diameter 24.8mm, thickness 2.5mm and weight 7.83g. Compare SUR-51F7A9.

One disc from a four disc cloth seal of Post medieval date, probably 1603 - 1714. The disc has a relief design of a crown and crossed sceptres which suggests a 17th century date, into the reign of Queen Anne. A Queen Anne cloth seal on the Bagseal gallery website has a crown and crossed sceptre design. Measurements are; length 13.3mm, 12.2mm wide, 1.4mm thick and weighs 1.12g. Compare BH-6D73BB.

A single disc from a four disc cloth seal dating from about AD 1550 - 1650. It is sub-circular and one side has a double rose in relief. Measurements are; diameter 15.9mm, thickness 1.1mm and weight 1.41g. Elton (2017, page 217) writes that the rose as a royal symbol was used on cloth seals from about 1509 until the Stuart period, but as this disc is from a four disc seal it i likely to date from after 1550.

A lead cloth seal or other seal dating from the post medieval period, about AD 1500 - 1800. It is a two disc seal with a fluted connecting tab. An integral rivet from the back of one disc passes through a hole in the other and is flattened. The rivet disc is marked with a large plain letter C (or perhaps a crescent). A small lead Post Medieval cloth seal dating from AD 1640. It is two discs of a four disc seal. One bears the Prince of Wales feathers in a crown, above the date 1640. The other depicts a three masted sailing ship. The seal is 14.9mm long, 10.8mm wide, 3.0mm thick and weighs 2.29g. The finder reports that Stuart Elton has identified this seal as a West County alnage seal. A close parallel is NARC-381F55.

A cast lead artefact, probably a cloth seal of late post-Medieval date, about AD 1700 - 1900. It is a two-part seal with two discs of slightly different sizes connected by an incomplete tab. The smaller disc is impressed with the design of a flower,a double rose of six petals, within a beaded border. The larger disc has no moulded design, but the reverse has been crudely inscribed with an hourglass and the numeral 9, perhaps indicating 89 above a line. An incomplete Post-Medieval lead cloth seal, dating to the Post-Medieval period (AD 1500-1750).  The cloth seal is comprised of one circular disc and was probably part of a four disc seal.It has a relief design of an Irish harp encircled by a line border on one face. The other face has a central pellet and a raised line border. The object is 19.9mm long, 15.5mm wide, 2.0mm thick and weighs 2.95g. The central pellet on NLM-5FDFB8 is similar, though the harp is a different design.

The two discs are fastened by a split pin type arrangement and a connecting tab. Disc 1 is illegible. The rivet projects from its reverse. A two piece lead cloth seal of post-Medieval date, probably about AD 1500 - 1700. It consists of two discs joined by a short tab, one disc having a large central hole and the other an integral, divided flat rivet. The tab has been folded then the rivet has been passed through the hole and flattened during the stamping process to complete the fastening. Both sides are impressed with lettering which appears to read London: LON on one face and DON on the other. The seal has a light cream patina. It is 5.8mm long, 11.8mm wide and 4.2mm thick. The seal is circular in plan, though a considerable amount of the upper disc has broken away and is now missing. The front face carries a moulded design in the form of a pinecone and the second, larger, disc a moulded letter A with a pellet in the centre and an annulet to the side. A lead Post Medieval cloth seal, probably dating from AD 1500 - 1700. It is a two disc seal, or possibly an incomplete four disc seal. The legiable face has the letters BB (the first one retrogade) with either an X or scissors between them, and a probable crown above. The seal has a well developed cream to yellow patina. The seal is 16.8mm long, 13.1mm wide and 3.6mm thick. 3.8g. No close parallel has been found, but another seal with a B and scissors on is HAMP-94BB12, and SUR-143677 has the royal cipher of William III which is a crown over R (retrograde) W R which has similarities.

A post medieval lead alloy two or four-disc cloth seal. Parts of one disc and the central rivet integral to that disc survive. One face of the disc is stamped, on the rivet, with a design of short lines in saltire, perhaps sceptres, or crossed keys. Any further design or olettering that may have been present on the outer area or on the other side, is no longer visible. The seal is 26.2mm diameter, 5.5mm thick and 9.1g.
