A copper alloy Roman coin; a nummus of Valens, dating from AD 364 - 378 (Reece Period 19). SECVRITAS REI PVBLICAE reverse type depicting Victory advancing left with wreath and palm. Mint of Aquileia: B // SMAQP. See LRBC number 972 on page 67 but the letter B is in the left field, not the right. Measurements are; diameter 18.0mm, thickness 1.4mm and weight 1.75g.
