A copper alloy fragment of a Medieval vessel; a pot leg from a cooking vessel that dates from the medieval to post medieval period (about AD 1100-1750).  The object has a rectangular cross section and is sub-rectangular in plan. It has a slight central ridge on the outer-side and the back is flat. The leg is straight and there is no foot.  Measurements are; length 31.1mm, width 41.3mm, thickness 8.9mm and weight 46.14g.

A Medieval lead seal matrix dating from AD 1200 - 1300. It is a pointed oval "vesica" shaped matrix and it is very worn. The central motif is a stylised fleur-de-lis and there is a line border. The inscription is probably a personal one but is mostly illegible: S'[...]ELC. On the reverse is a central rib with a perforated lug at one end. Measurments are; length 31.0mm, width 20.4mm, thickness 7.4mm and weight 17.34g.

A copper alloy rectangular strap plate or other mount or strap fitting, of medieval date, AD 1300 - 1450. It comprises two rectangular sheet plates, joined by a flush copper alloy rivet at each end, leaving a gap between the plates of 2.25mm for the missing strap. It is 16.9mm long, 6.7mm wide and 3.8mm thick. It weighs 1g. Similar strap plates are discussed in Egan and Pritchard (1991) page 226.

A fragment of a copper alloy strap end or buckle plate or clasp plate, dating from the Medieval period, about AD 1200 - 1400. It is a sub-rectangular plate, tapering towards one end. The narrow end is slightly curved, perhaps where the strap end was folded widthways. If the plate is from a strap clasp, the bend could be where it was folded round the frame. An incomplete copper alloy mount, probably a Medieval harness pendant suspension mount, but it could also be a casket mount or other harness mount, dating from AD 1200 - 1500. The surviving part is a shell shaped or perhaps a septfoil terminal, that is convex on the outer face and hollow behind. A rectangular bar extends from the top of the shell, and is broken across a circular rivet hole. The bar is flat, with a hollow reverse. Traces of gilding survive on the front. An complete copper alloy double looped Medieval asymmetrical buckle dating from AD 1350 to 1450. One of the loops is oval and the other is rectangular in form and smaller.  Both faces of the buckle are flat.  No pin is present and the buckle has a dark grey patina. It is 18.1mm long, 27.6mm wide and 2.2mm thick. It weighs 1.8.g. Compare YORYM-AEFE74. A similar example is illustrated in Whitehead, p.87, number 540 and is dated to about AD 1350 - 1450.
