A complete copper alloy double looped annular buckle frame of Medieval dating (AD 1400 to AD 1500). The buckle frame is present, the pin and/or strap plates are missing, presumed lost in antiquity. The buckle frame is sub-circular. The central bar, divides the loop into two 'D' shape sectors. There are two integral sub-rectangular projections to one outer edge, decorated like a tassel on the end of a belt. There is no evidence of a pin rest.
