An incomplete cast copper alloy hanger attachment for a sword belt, of Post Medieval dating (16th to 17th Centuries AD). The find is sub triangular in plan, and slightly convex in section. The hanger has a slight bow to it, with the centre being higher than the two ends. The hanger consists of a sub triangular shape, with a rounded base (almost oval). A small projection is present at the mid point of the curve. Towards the apex of the triangular, a broken loop is present on the lower edge, with a corresponding small projection on the upper edge. A complete cast copper alloy double looped oval buckle or sword belt hanger of early Post Medieval date, circa AD1500-1630. The buckle consists of a double looped oval frame with a circular, lateral suspension loop. The reverse has a bevelled internal reverse. The belt hanger is mid to dark green with an uneven patina. The surface is slightly abraded. Length: 45.16mm. Width: 39.00mm. Thickness: 9.90mm. Weight: 8.7g. Comparable example recorded in Whitehead, 1998, p72, no 449 (Buckles AD1250-1800)

Three copper alloy looped plate strap fittings and a hooked ring, probably from a sword belt of Post Medieval dating (AD 1600 to AD 1700). The three looped plate strap fittings are all of the same type. They are sub triangular with a forked terminal on the front plate. The front is decorated with three transverse ridges, each decorated with small diagonal grooves. A rivet hole is present between the two lower transverse ridges, and continues through to the back plate.
