The remnants of the casting sprues are still present to either side of the coin and have not been completely filed away. Both the obverse and reverse exhibit embossed (raised) designs. A star formed of two interlocking equilateral triangles (a Star of David) is present on the obverse. A pellet is present in the centre of the star. The bag seal is sub circular in shape and consists of two circular discs of lead alloy metal pressed together to secure the string.
