A fragment of a copper alloy object, probably part of an axehead of Bronze Age date (c. 2500-800 BC). The fragment is likely of the blade end of the axehead with a transverse break across the body. The surviving section of the blade is crescent shaped and the object is triangular in profile, narrowing evenly from 4.89mm thick at the break to 0.96mm thick just before the edge of the blade. The top surface is smooth and domed, with a couple of uneven projections. The lower surface is flat. It measures 20.45mm in length, 21.34mm wide and 6.27mm thick. It weighs 13.1grams. The object could be a piece of casting waste, but there are traces of silvering on a couple of areas on both surfaces. The patina is similar to that found on early Roman coins, but this object is too thick to be a coin.

Approximately 95% of the brooch is present consisting of the bow, wings, spring casing, spring, and catch plate. The pin is missing. An incomplete cast copper alloy umbonate plate brooch, of Roman dating (100 - 250 AD). Approximately 75% of the brooch is present, with only the pin and part of the catch plate missing, presumably lost in antiquity. The brooch is sub circular in plan, with three (3) projecting knops and domed (convex) in profile. A complete cast copper alloy seal matrix of Late Post Medieval to Early Modern dating (18th to 19th Centuries AD). The seal matrix consists of a circular engraved device and an integrally cast square section shank. The shank gradually tapers to a point. The device consists of either a beaded or rope like border around the edge, with a large crown in the centre, and the name CONWAY beneath. The device appears quite crude and handmade.
