A complete copper alloy rotary key of Medieval date (AD 1150 to AD 1400).
The key can be described in several sections: The bow or handle, stem and bit.
The bow is flat and lozengiform, with an complete tubular projection (perhaps a suspension loop) at one corner, on the outside edge. Four circular perforations (holes) are present in the bow, positioned irregularly. Internal diameter of the holes is 4.7 mm. Globular knops are present at the upper and lower points.

An incomplete copper alloy Roman brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill of Roman dating AD 80 to AD120.
Around 25% of the brooch is present, consisting of the bow. The wings, spring, pin, foot and catch plate are missing, presumed lost in antiquity.
The bow is angular and hump back, resembling a comma. It is broken around 2/3 of its length. The wings are incomplete and consist of small stubs. A cylindrical recess is present behind the wings, this would originally have retained the spring. The reverse is undecorated. The bow tapers to a sharp point.

A complete lead or lead alloy biconvex spindle whorl, of possible Medieval dating (AD 1100 to AD 1450).
The spindle whorl is sub circular in shape, and flat in cross section. The central hole is sub circular in shape and has been cast slightly off central. The central hole is infilled with iron corrosion products. The upper face has been decorated with a circle of pellets within a zig zag border. The lower face is undecorated.

An incomplete cast copper alloy (bronze) flat axe of Early Bronze Age dating (c. 2350 BC to c. 2050 BC).
The flat axe is broadly sub rectangular in shape with a splayed crescent shaped blade. In profile it is broadly lentoid, with slight tapering edges. The butt is relatively thin having a narrow rounded profile; the width at the butt is 23.7 mm (thickness: 2.5 mm). A complete lead or lead alloy plaque depicting a hunting scene of Post Medieval dating (AD 1700 to AD 1900).
The plaque is irregular in shape, it consists of a moulded scene depicting a winged cupid, riding a possible dragon right, blowing a hunting horn. Wings are outstretched behind. The reverse is flat.
It measures 35.7 mm in length, 50.1 mm wide and 6.2 mm thick. It weighs 26.3 g.

Less than 25% of the brooch is present, consisting only of the catch plate and foot. The bow, wings, head, spring and pin are missing, presumed lost in antiquity.
The brooch fragment is sub triangular in plan. The catch plate is triangular with folded edge to retain the pin. A rounded foot knop is present.

The object is flat in profile and sub-rectangular in plan with a rounded tip. Both sides of the split are present, with two small circular attachment holes present. Probably around 50% of the openwork comb is present, most of the teeth are missing, along with the suspension hole. The comb is flat. with a post depositional bend to it.
