Several surface exhibit old post-depositional breaks. An engraved spiral is present on one surface. It measures 13.9 mm in length, 11.6 mm wide and 9.7 mm thick. It weighs 4.7 g. The artefact is mid to dark green in colour, with an even surface patina.

A right hand engraved spiral is present as decoration curving around all sides. It is hollow. Both top and bottom edges are complete. It measures 22.4 mm in length, it now has a width of 17.5 mm and 6.9 mm thick. The walls are 1.2 mm thick. It weighs 5.6 g. The ferrule is a dark grey colour, with an even surface patina.

The body of the matrix consists of a pedestal, created from a six sided tapering column. This terminates in a complete triangular knop, with a circular suspension hole in the middle. The suspension loop is complete, and has an internal diameter of 2.4 mm. One horizontal collars separate the suspension loop from the rest of the handle.
