Incomplete copper-alloy suspension mount for a horse-harness pendant, dating from c.1200 to c. 1400. The find consists of a plate, originally square or rectangular but now much abraded. One edge has two rectangular projections (each approx 4.5 mm wide), which would have been folded around a bar to create a hinge for the pendant. The projections have broken at the point of folding.
