An incomplete lead alloy uncertain artefact of uncertain function and form, probably of Post Medieval dating (AD 1600 to AD 1800). The artefact is cylindrical in shape. The ends are incomplete. Along the length of the body, are longituditual ridges, with possible zig zag decoration between them. It has a length of 19.5 mm, is 11.3 mm wide and 8.6 mm thick. It weighs 11.7 g. The artefact is a mid grey colour, with an even surface patina. Abrasion, caused by movement while within the plough soil, has resulted in the loss of some of the original surface detail.

Although it looks like it is a two part artefact with one side fitting inside the other, it has been cast in one piece. Foliate decoration around the outside. Circular knops are on either side and the top crosses over and then splits into two separate prongs, with the ends incomplete. It measures 89.1 mm in length, 65.2 mm wide and 7.4 mm thick.
