A probable incomplete lead alloy artefact of uncertain function, but probably of Post Medieval dating (AD 1700 to AD 1900). It is of a pointed oval shape. Although it looks like it is a two part artefact with one side fitting inside the other, it has been cast in one piece. Foliate decoration around the outside. Circular knops are on either side and the top crosses over and then splits into two separate prongs, with the ends incomplete. It measures 89.1 mm in length, 65.2 mm wide and 7.4 mm thick. It weighs 83.2 g. It is a light to dark grey colour, with an uneven surface patina.
