A complete cast and decorated lead alloy tobacco box lid knop of Post Medieval dating (17th to 18th Centuries AD). The knop is broadly sub oval in plan and irregular in profile. The central knop / lid has a central circular knop, surrounded by a oval plate, with a raised external border. Traces of black enamel are still present on the surface. The neck below the knop of the lid becomes narrow before expanding outwards in a slanting platform with the remains of the rivet protruding out from underneath.
