A complete machine drawn silver thimble of Post Medieval to Modern dating (19th to 20th Centuries AD). The thimble consists of a tall conical shape, with a rounded top. Circular indentations cover the top two thirds of the thimble and have been arranged in neat horizontal lines. Below the indentations are two horizontal borders. The upper one bears an inscribed foliate scroll like design. The lower one has pellet lines to the top and bottom, with a row of larger pellets in between.
