The fitting can be divided into two separate parts; the body and the hooked terminal. The hooked terminal is lost and the break is worn and eroded suggested a relatively old break. It has a D shaped cross section. Two integral attachment spikes are present on the reverse, each with a D shaped cross section. Both taper to a blunt point. Both have a 90 degree bend at the halfway point. It measures 22.5 mm in length, 6.5 mm wide and 11.6 mm thick. it weighs 2.0 g.
