A complete copper alloy probable two part strap end, of Late Medieval dating (AD 1300 to AD 1450). The strap end is broadly sub-rectangular in both plan and cross section. The longitudinal edges are bevelled and taper from the widest - strap end to a blunted terminal. The strap end is formed from two parts: an incomplete inlaid front plate and a back plate.
