An incomplete copper alloy rowel spur, of Post Medieval dating (AD 1700 to AD 1900). Around 75% of the spur is present, consisting of one almost complete arm, an incomplete one, a neck and a partial rowel box. The arms have a flat cross section. Originally both arms would have formed a 'U' shape with the neck, but now the arms have been pushed closer together. An upward curve of the arms still remains. An incomplete copper alloy rowel spur arm, of Post medieval dating (AD 1400 to AD 1700). Less than 25% of the spur arm is present, consisting of part of the arm and the incomplete attachment holes. The spur arm is almost L shaped, with a sub 90 degree bend located around the midpoint of the surviving fragment. A moulding of three transverse ridges is present at the bend. An incomplete copper alloy star spur rowel, of Post Medieval dating (c. AD 1600 - c. AD 1660). Around 3/5th of the rowel is present, consisting of 3 out of the original 5 points. The rowel is flat on both faces, with bevelled edges. It would have originally had five evenly spaced fleur-de-lis points forming a star shape. An incomplete copper alloy rowel from a rowel spur, of Medieval dating (AD 1300 to AD 1500). The rowel is star shaped, with originally seven spikes. Six of the seven spikes are currently present. Each spike is a pointed oval shape. A sub circular perforation is present at the centre of the rowel. It measures 22.4 mm in length, 23.4 mm wide and 2.0 mm thick. It weighs 2.4 g. The rowel is a mid green colour, with an even surface patina. Abrasion, caused by movement whilst within the plough soil, has resulted in a loss of some of the original surface detail.
