A complete copper alloy rivet, probably of Post Medieval dating (AD 1600 to AD 1800). The rivet consists of a circular sectioned shank with two incomplete discs on either end. The edges of both discs are incomplete, so it is hard to determine their original extent. It measures 12.3 mm in length, the roves have a maximum diameter of 11.1 mm. The shank has a diameter of 6.6 mm. It weighs 3.3 g. The rivet is a mid to dark green colour with an even surface patina. A complete copper alloy probable rivet, of Post Medieval dating (AD 1500 to AD 1800). The probable rivet is sub rectangular in shape and cross section. It has a flattened sub rectangular head and appears to be solid as opposed to a rolled sheet copper alloy rivet. The shank is rectangular in shape and cross section. It measures 20.1 mm in length, 3.4 mm wide and 4.2 mm thick. It weighs 0.7 g. The probable rivet is a dark green to brown colour, with an uneven surface patina. A sub circular flattened copper alloy vessel mend or flattened rolled rivet, probably of Late Medieval to Post Medieval dating (c.1350 to 1600 AD). The vessel mend consists of a coiled copper alloy that has been flattened by use of a hammer, probably around a rivet. The vessel mend measures 11.19mm in diameter, and 2.35mm thick. It weighs 1.1 grams.
