An incomplete copper sub-circular ring fitting or handle of probable post medieval or early modern date (1500 - 1800). The fitting / handle comprises a circular ring with the remains of a single projection. The projection is integrally cast with a rectangular cross section. In plan the handle / fitting is an irregular circle with a D shaped cross section and bevelled edges. The ring measures 30.0 mm length, 27.1 mm width and is 6.2 mm high and 2.2 mm thick. It has an external diameter of 50.2 mm, an internal diameter of 30.5 mm. The ring is 10.0 mm wide and 8.6 mm thick. It weighs 39.2 g. An incomplete cast copper alloy ring, possibly a finger ring or possibly harness fitting, of probable Iron Age to Roman dating (200 BC to AD 300). The ring is cast in one piece and is relatively large and heavy. The ring is relatively uniform in diameter and broadly D shaped in cross section. It is decorated with a single circumferential recessed band which divides the ring unevenly. There seems to be no other surface decoration present. The ring has an external diameter of 31.77 mm and an internal diameter of 19.42 mm. It is 10.95 mm wide and is 4.83 mm thick. It weighs 21.1 g. …

A complete cast lead alloy finger ring, or possible window came fitting, of Medieval to post Medieval dating (12th to 18th Centuries AD). The ring can be described in two parts: the hoop and and the bezel. The hoop consists of a strip of lead alloy, with a D-shape cross section, with the ends overlapping at the back of the ring and soldered together. A complete cast copper alloy ring with gilded decoration and applied cut glass stone, probably of Post Medieval dating (16th to 17th Centuries AD). It consists of a small intact ring with a raised row of moulded decoration top and bottom. The decoration consists of a double row of conjoined pellets. The middle of the ring is plain apart from some traces of gilding surviving. A square point cut translucent yellow stone has been applied to the middle section of the ring.
