An incomplete copper alloy ring, of unknown dating, but possibly Late Prehistoric dating (800 BC to 50 AD). The ring is complete. It is circular in shape, with an circular cross section. It has an external diameter of 50.2 mm, an internal diameter of 30.5 mm. The ring is 10.0 mm wide and 8.6 mm thick. It weighs 39.2 g. A complete cast lead alloy finger ring, or possible window came fitting, of Medieval to post Medieval dating (12th to 18th Centuries AD). The ring can be described in two parts: the hoop and and the bezel. The hoop consists of a strip of lead alloy, with a D-shape cross section, with the ends overlapping at the back of the ring and soldered together. The flat side is orientated towards the interior of the ring. The hoop is now a D-shape in plan. The bezel has been soldered onto the mid point of the hoop. A complete cast copper alloy ring with gilded decoration and applied cut glass stone, probably of Post Medieval dating (16th to 17th Centuries AD). It consists of a small intact ring with a raised row of moulded decoration top and bottom. The decoration consists of a double row of conjoined pellets. The middle of the ring is plain apart from some traces of gilding surviving. A square point cut translucent yellow stone has been applied to the middle section of the ring. It is probable that this stone is cut glass but it is possible that it could be a yellow semi-precious stone such …
