An incomplete flint plano-convex knife of Early Bronze Age dating (c. 2350 BC to c. 1400 BC).
Around 50% of the knife is present, the rest is missing, presumed lost in antiquity. The knife is of a sub pointed oval shape, with a flattened end. It has a D shaped cross section.
It is a mid grey colour, with minimal surface patination. It has been made from a piece of tertiary debitage.

A complete flint plano-convex knife of Early Bronze Age dating (c. 2350 BC to c. 1400 BC).
The knife is of a sub pointed oval shape, with a flattened end. It has a D shaped cross sction.
It is a dark brown colour, with minimal surface patination. Remains of the cortex (outer rind) is present on the dorsal surface and is an off white colour. It has been made from a piece of secondary debitage.
